N records at Centro Cultural de Belém a concert for the National Portuguese Radio performed by the Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa and Horácio Ferreira.
Two works that marked the end of their composers’ lives: the Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op.74, which Tchaikovsky defined as “the best music I have ever written or ever will”, and the Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622 , by Mozart, his last purely orchestral work, which will have as its soloist Horácio Ferreira, the winner of the latest edition of the ‘Young Musicians’ Award’, an initiative to which the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra once again lent its support. The concert opens with the première of Paisagem Interior (Inner Landscape), written in 1999 by Clotilde Rosa.
