N records the “Cosmopolitismo do barroco português” concert with soprano Ana Vieira Leite and Divino Sospiro conducted by Massimo Mazzeo at the Palácio Nacional de Queluz.
Divino Sospiro is a project founded on the principles of quality and fidelity of musical interpretation, which approaches the ancient repertoire without, however, abdicating its own creative instinct, with the aim of awakening a new aesthetic taste, a new passion for “listening”, a reflection on the meaning of music and musicians.
Divino Sospiro has been performed in some of the most important venues in Portugal, including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Centro Cultural de Belém, Casa da Música, Teatro Camões and Teatro Nacional de São Carlos. It has been also participated in some of the most prestigious foreign festivals such as the Folle Journée de Nantes (France), the Folle Journée au Japon (Tokyo), the Varna Festival (Bulgaria), the Muzikfest Bremen (Germany), the Festival d’Ambronay (France), the Mozartiana Festival in Gdansk (Poland), the National Auditorium of Spain in Madrid and the La Valletta Early Music Festival (Malta), and was for 10 years the orchestra in residence at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon, developing in Portugal a fundamental role in the affirmation of an artistic reality of high quality at an international level.
