N Studio Lisbon made the surround recording of Luis Tinoco’s “Entre Silêncios – Clarinet Concerto” at Casa da Música.
This concert has the particularity of having 3 clarinetists playing in the middle of the audience. To translate that to a recording the ideal is to make a recording that reproduces 360º instead of the conventional 60º front of the stage. In addition, for those who do not have a surround listening system, we’ve also made a binaural (immersive) version to listen with headphones.
